Excursion
Join us on an interesting and fun excursion after 4 days of hard work!
In the morning, we’ll travel by bus to the Sanctuary Notre Dame of Beauraing. This is an international pilgrimage site visited annually by thousands of devotees of Mother Mary. In the winter of 1933, the Blessed Mother appeared 33 times to five children in the sanctuary’s garden.
Walk around, sit in meditation and prayer, and let it sink in. Don’t forget to visit the Mary Museum. It houses over 800 images of Our Lady worldwide, including statues, paintings, and other precious objects. Some of the pieces are very rare.
Next, we visit the city of Dinant to explore this lovely treasure on the river Meuse. There’s lots to do here. How about a walk through Dinant’s cave? Discovered in 1904, it’s considered one of the most beautiful caves in Belgium.
Or you could visit the Citadel of Dinant, reached by 408 steps. Not so active? No worries, you can take a cable car to the top. An interesting 10 centuries of history await you there—and a stunning panoramic view of Dinant!
Don’t miss strolling the quaint shopping streets of Dinant, or walking across the Charles de Gaulle bridge with its giant saxophone statues. And pay a visit to the Collegiate Church of Our Lady of Dinant, a beautiful Gothic church that’s one of the main tourist attractions in the Ardennes. Meanwhile, there is time for fellowship, sharing, and connecting with your old and new SU friends.
Doesn’t this sound exciting? Don’t hesitate—sign up now for this special day!
